My focus on the healthcare industry allows me to create intuitive design solutions that help hospitalists quickly assess department status and make informed decisions, ultimately enhancing patient care. My data visualization work is both explanatory and exploratory, enabling stakeholders to quickly grasp key insights and make accurate, data-driven decisions.
I’m currently on assignment at GE Healthcare as a Visual UX Designer, where I’m contributing to the redesign of the Command Center in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a talented team. Before that, I worked at Panoramic Health, specializing in data visualization for nephrology clinics, where I designed dashboards and guided BI developers on implementing innovative chart types. My previous experience also includes working with Apple, where I created an intranet site and designed multiple dashboards. Additionally, I served as the UX Design Lead at DemocracyLab, mentoring design volunteers, leading weekly stand-up meetings, and providing valuable project critiques. I also contributed to AIGA Portland’s website committee, helping iterate on the homepage redesign.
Some of my favorite things include my two dogs, Oscar and Sadie; listening to amazing drum solos from JoJo Mayer, John Bonham, and Omar Hakim; going to see the Foo Fighters and Journey live (yes, I was a proud card carrying member of the Journey fan club); exploring the Oregon coast, the Rocky Mountains, and Paris, France; cheering on the Denver Broncos, escaping in a good book; drinking copious amounts of coffee, and, last but not least, eating peanut butter ice cream.
